Afhængig af hvor mange data du indtaster pr. golf runde vil din Kanongolf Statistik være mere eller mindre detailjeret. De fleste af Kanongolf Statistikkerne kan laves ud fra resultaterne på de enkelte huller alene. Men de komplette diagnoser, svarende til dem du ser for de professionelle golfspillere, kræver at der indtastes lidt flere data.

Many, many years ago Reginald Duffer was canonised by the Royal and Ancient Golfers, thus becoming the patron saint of all avid golfers, now known as Saint Duffer. No matter how you perform in your persuasion of the perfect game, Saint Duffer will always be there to help you.

Notwithstanding that outrageous behaviour he is the golfers' patron saint. He has the power to protect golfers against the dreaded roughs and hazards and traps that lie along each fairway. He's ready to take on all the pain and suffering caused by the game.

On this site he occasionally will provide you with a diagnosis of your golf game. He will take the full responsibility for those diagnoses, as the web-master under no circumstances will be held responsible for those.

Saint Duffer quote no. 8:
When your shot has to carry over a water hazard, you can either hit one more club or two more balls.

Saint Duffer rule no. 4:
In or near a bunker or sandtrap, a ball rolling back toward the player may be hit again on the roll without counting an extra stroke or strokes.
In any case, no more than two strokes are to be counted in playing from a bunker, since it is reasonable to assume that if the player had time to concentrate on his shot,instead of hurrying it so as not to delay his playing partners, he would be out in two.

Saint Duffer philosophy:
A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And, when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.
This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells.
Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.
